JAKE AMES

My buddy Jake Ames was playing every Thursday evening this summer at Craft Pride on Rainey st, and he wanted me to shoot a song from his set. So I set up a static camera, a light with an attached umbrella, an audio recorder on the other side of the backyard, and slapped my main camera into my shoulder rig to grab this run-and-gun live recording. With the voice of an angel and the nimble fingers of a neurosurgeon, he croons with a voice dripping with honey while shredding on guitar like he is trying to bury a scandalous paper trail.
