This was a project called “Pieces”. It contains a number of clips of audio and video from all sorts of sources, including some of my own ACTLab projects, as well as other fellow ACTLab students’ projects. It originally had a slightly more straightforward audio track, but with experimentation and happy accidents, things sort of ended up spiraling out of control. And it actually sort of served the purpose of the work as a whole, so I went with it. As the video fragments further and further, the audio begins to cascade upon itself, growing more and more chaotic. This was a project about multimedia, in a very literal sense.
